Creating a Mission for Agents to complete along with your Ingress First Saturday event

Creating a Mission for Agents to complete along with your Ingress First Saturday event

Creating a Mission for Agents to complete along with your Ingress First Saturday event is a great way to guide attendees on a specific path and help you organize and structure your event. It also provides Agents with a keepsake Mission Medal that helps them remember your #IngressFS  event.

Here are some tips to make sure your Mission is accepted in time:

- Remember that review times will vary and may take several weeks, so submit soon for the next #IngressFS  to ensure you hear back in time.
- Please keep in mind that #IngressFS  Missions still need to meet the Mission criteria: https://support.google.com/ingress/answer/6107593
- The most common reasons for rejection of #IngressFS  Missions is that they contain clues or passphrases that require contacting a certain person to get the answer (e.g., use the code from your packet or contact the leader to get this code) or they create the impression that your Mission is “official” or sponsored.

You may also want to consider making your #IngressFS  Mission have a more general focus so that it works for your event and also after the event or for future events. For example, it can explain basic elements of Ingress so that Agents who cannot make it to First Saturday can still get acclimated by completing your Mission another time. Have you already created your #IngressFS  Mission? Show it off and help inspire other event hosts by sharing your Mission on Google+ with the #IngressMissions  hashtag.
