Operation #BLACKWOOFUS:
Local agent @WETWOOFUS(rodney fettinger) was approaching the AP goal for level 16 but still needed his second black badge before he could level. With nearly 1.8m MU already captured, Illuminator was his best bet. The lanes were utterly cluttered in all the nearby MU-dense areas (#AM03-JULIET-08 & #AM03-JULIET-13), so rural-gress it must be!
As our dear Papa Smurf finished his road trip to farm AP, a handful of locals did some farming of their own. Upon his return he found 4 capsules awaiting him, slam full of Softbanks and keys. (These in addition, of course, to the many capsules of bursters and keys he was given during his last big push to 16.)
In the past,@Matrovsky threw a set of fields similar to what was planned so we knew the approximate MU available, and a single throw was nowhere near enough. The plan, then, was thus: (1) Set up anchor legs from the east, (2) throw 39 fields from a single portal with 4 Softbanks on it, (3) Jarvis, (4) step back to a different portal and repeat five times.
By the time he was ready for the fifth set, nearly enough time had passed to ADA a previously Jarvis'ed portal, thus saving the use of a set of softbanks. It was apparent that he'd still be a bit short on MU, however, so while waiting on the cooldown he threw another set of onion fields up to the north.
All told,@WETWOOFUS netted 2,226,688 MU and 340k AP, having thrown nearly 200 fields in just a handful of hours.
After getting the final badge he needed, Papa Smurf headed to the local toad farm to finish up with a tasty bacon desert (and an amazing screenshot).
It's really too bad that we smurfs don't know how to help each other out, isn't it? :p
